Domenick Naccarato is a Lehigh Valley–based artist whose work explores the intersection of structure, material, and time. Drawing from a background in design and a long-standing interest in modernist composition, his pieces often begin with rigid systems such as grids, divisions, and architectural frameworks. These controlled foundations are then disrupted through layering, erosion, and physical intervention, allowing imperfection and chance to play an active role in the final result.

His practice blends paint with found objects, industrial materials, and textured surfaces, creating works that feel simultaneously constructed and weathered. Rather than aiming for illusion or representation, Naccarato is interested in surface as evidence. Scratches, seams, and embedded materials are not concealed but emphasized, suggesting histories of use, decay, and reconstruction. Many of his recent works incorporate dimensional elements that extend beyond the picture plane, reinforcing their object-like presence.

At its core, his work is about balance: order versus disruption, restraint versus accumulation, permanence versus change. Each piece functions as a record of decisions made, altered, and sometimes undone. The result is a body of work that feels tactile, deliberate, and grounded in process, inviting viewers to slow down and engage with the physical reality of the object in front of them.

Every Clock is a Different Time - Abstract acrylic Painting by Allentown Fine Artist Nina Boodhansingh

I’m Nina Boodhansingh, I am an abstract painter and collage artist, as well as the Co-owner, Director, and Curator of Midnight Galley.

My paintings can be described as ethereal. Inspired by nature, skyscapes, landscapes, microscopic images, and the cosmos, each painting represents familiar elements within an abstract world. The surface of the work has a tangible texture built with paint, various gel mediums, sand, and/or metal leaf. Modeling layers, dimensions, and illusions of space in the paintings, the finished pieces suggest parallel, yet distant, worlds. Evoking a dream-like quality, there is a mood of calmness in each piece. I also works with collage, mixed media, and dabble in drawing. Some of my work reflects on living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trichotillomania, and endometriosis.

    MiLV - Studio729 - Heart Mosaic Print

Creativity is at the center of everything I do and it all began with a big box of colorful Crayola crayons, which I got every year for Christmas along with the belief and encouragement that I could do whatever I wanted to.  My love of art flourished over the years, leading to a formal degree from Moravian College.

I work in all media to create still lifes, landscapes and portraits, and abstract art.  I also recently started to add my original works to mugs, tee shirts and other products, all of which can be seen and ordered from my Etsy shop.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions
