Domenick Naccarato is a Lehigh Valley–based artist whose work explores the intersection of structure, material, and time. Drawing from a background in design and a long-standing interest in modernist composition, his pieces often begin with rigid systems such as grids, divisions, and architectural frameworks. These controlled foundations are then disrupted through layering, erosion, and physical intervention, allowing imperfection and chance to play an active role in the final result.
His practice blends paint with found objects, industrial materials, and textured surfaces, creating works that feel simultaneously constructed and weathered. Rather than aiming for illusion or representation, Naccarato is interested in surface as evidence. 
Scratches, seams, and embedded materials are not concealed but emphasized, suggesting histories of use, decay, and reconstruction. Many of his recent works incorporate dimensional elements that extend beyond the picture plane, reinforcing their object-like presence.
